East Midlands Trains have submitted a proposal for:
Provision of Automatic Ticket Gates, CCTV cameras and improved lighting in station booking hall and Supertram lobby, erection of glazed barriers adjacent to footbridge stairs, provision of ticket vending machines and video help point in Supertram lobby, erection of boundary fencing and walling to the west side of platform one
Location: Sheffield Midland Station, Sheaf Street, Sheffield, S1 2BP,
Applicant: Mr S Dakin - Stagecoach South Western

Most of these applications are decided by officers, but occasionally they are reported to an Area Planning Board. If so, you may attend and, if you wish, ask to speak. I will try to inform you when the board meeting is.

Consider it done! Have spread the word also.
1) Les Sturch is the Interim Head of Development Services, not a Principal Planning Officer.
2) Letters are best sent directly to the planning officer (as they will get to the right place faster) In this case the officer is Howard Baxter. The address is as Les Sturch.
3) The deadline for comments will be *at least* 9th October (as stated on the neighbour notification details on the associated documents on the planning application this may be extended if major changes are made and neighbours need to be reconsulted.
4) This application will almost certainly go to a Planning Board, due to the public interest in it.
